What We Believe

Our faith is rooted in the Word of God and the historic Christian tradition.

1

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God — the supreme authority for faith and life. All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16–17).

2

God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is holy, loving, all-knowing, all-powerful, and ever-present. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things.

3

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to the right hand of the Father where He intercedes for us.

4

Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone — not by works. All who repent of sin and trust in Christ are forgiven, justified, and born again by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 2:8–9, John 3:16).

5

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer at salvation, empowering us to live holy lives, understand Scripture, and serve the body of Christ. We believe in the ongoing gifts of the Spirit for the building up of the Church.

6

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, consisting of all born-again believers. It exists to worship God, make disciples, and love the world. We practice baptism by immersion and communion as ordinances of the Church.
